Promoting self-confidence, grace, and poise

Dance your way over..!

The Little Ballerina is an Orthodox Jewish Sunday program for little girls, ages 3-12. Our warm, loving atmosphere creates the perfect environment for each ballerina to thrive and blossom as she reaches her full potential. An expertly designed program including a unique combination of ballet, fun aerobics and basic gymnastics. Introducing our students to the ballet skill is always new and exciting. As we study and practice in our beautiful state-of-the-art ballet studio, the girls learn many ballet positions, balance, and poise. We stress the importance of sitting and standing with good posture, walking and dancing with grace, and improving balance and coordination.  Each session is structured, following a routine, which begins with stretching and finishes with a center floor bow. The program creates a positive, personalized, and special ballet experience. We take great pride in watching our girls gain confidence and flourish into truly accomplished Little Ballerinas with a happy, positive self-esteem.

FAQ's
What makes your program unique?
The Little Ballerina is a Sunday morning experience where your daughter will learn how to dance ballet, gain confidence, and develop/utilize many important skills including coordination and balance. We focus primarily on ballet along with cardio, basic gymnastics, and stretching.  The hour is structured and fun! Our teachers and assistants are kind, loving, and warm, caring for each little ballerina. We are confident that your daughter will love the program! It is a little girl's dream come true.

When does the program begin, and how long is it?

Our program is an annual program held each Sunday morning. It begins after Sukkos, October 15th, bez"H.  Each class is one hour in length, continuously building skills.  Classes continue each consecutive Sunday, 12 weeks in total, excluding November 26th, Thanksgiving weekend, and December 10th, Chanukah. Classes fill up quickly; please submit your registration asap to guarantee your daughter's spot in the program.

Where do we purchase the leotard, slippers, and tutu?

Leotards (bodysuits), slippers, and tutu are purchased directly from the Little Ballerina.  We encourage a uniform look for all our students, promoting enhanced comfort level and greater self esteem for all.  Ballerinas receive their ballet ensemble at the beginning of the semester, within the first 2 weeks.

Which class is right for my daughter?

We determine your daughter's placement based on both age and level.  Once you register using the form on this site, we will let you know the time slot for your daughter's assigned class.  We always try to be accommodating to requests.

How does drop-off and pick-up work?

Only ballerinas and instructors will be entering and exiting the studio to minimize the volume of people in our studio. One of our ballet instructors will be waiting outside to bring the ballerinas into class five minutes before start time, as well as back to your car at the end of class. We encourage carpooling or arriving early to find parking. There is no blocking driveways or double-parking under any circumstances. Please respect our policy.

What is the policy regarding absences?
If your daughter will be missing a class, we always appreciate advance notice, when possible.  If your daughter misses class, she has the option of joining one other class at a different day/time before the end of the semester, although it may be with another age group.  We do not provide refunds or extensions of classes.

Will there be a recital?

A recital is always our goal, but due to conflicting scheduling and options of venues, it is not guaranteed - we will need to play it by ear as we get closer.
