What makes your program unique?
The Little Ballerina is a Sunday morning experience where your daughter will learn how to dance ballet, gain confidence, and develop/utilize many important skills including coordination and balance. We focus primarily on ballet along with cardio, basic gymnastics, and stretching.  The hour is structured and fun! Our teachers and assistants are kind, loving, and warm, caring for each little ballerina. We are confident that your daughter will love the program! It is a little girl's dream come true.

When does the program begin, and how long is it?

Our Fall season is a weekly program held each Sunday morning. It begins September 21st through January 4th.  Each class is one hour in length, continuously building skills.  The season is 12 weeks in total, with a short orientation prior, and excluding 4 Sundays for Yomim Tovim, Thanksgiving, and Chanukah. Exact dates are under the "Fall 2025" tab. Please mark your calendars.

Where do we purchase the leotard, slippers, and tutu?

Leotards (bodysuits), slippers, and tutu are purchased directly from the Little Ballerina.  We encourage a uniform look for all our students, promoting enhanced comfort level and greater self esteem for all.  Ballerinas receive their ballet ensemble at the "meet & greet" orientation, or at the first or second lesson depending on circumastances. If your daughter has any of the apparel, that still fits, from a previous season, let us know so we can adjust the rate - no need to purchase again.

Which class is right for my daughter?

We determine your daughter's placement based on both age and level.  Once you register using the form on this site, we will let you know the time slot for your daughter's assigned class.  We always try to be accommodating to requests. Classes fill up quickly; please submit your registration asap to guarantee your daughter's spot in the program.

How does drop-off and pick-up work?

Only ballerinas and instructors will be entering and exiting the studio to minimize the volume of people in our studio. Moms will have an opportunity to bring their daughter's inside to see our studio at our Orientation. Each week, one of our ballet instructors will be waiting outside to bring the ballerinas into class five minutes before start time, as well as back to your car at the end of class. We encourage carpooling or arriving early to find parking. There is no blocking driveways or double-parking under any circumstances. Please respect our policy.

What is the policy regarding absences?
If you know that your daughter will be missing a class, please let us know in advance. Please do not send your daughter if you sense that she is under the weather.  If your daughter misses class, she has the option of joining one other class at a different day/time before the end of the season, although it may be with another age group.  We do not provide refunds or extensions of classes.

Will there be classes in the Spring?

Yes. We will be having another short season after mid-winter vacation, starting in February. More information will be provided towards the end of the Fall.
